Hello: Does anyone have any info on Jehiel (Jehiah) Perkins, born ~1782 in CT, who is in the 1850 and 1860 Census of Guernsey Co., OH? I am trying to determine his death date and location, and find a probate or estate settlement with a record of his wife and children. Is he the father of the American diplomat, Charles Allen Perkins (approx 1830-1890)? I have the information in _The Descendants of Edward Perkins_. I am looking for documents to verify that material.
