Go to FamilySearch.com and search for Justin Loomis, /- 5 years, Connecticut. five or Six IGI records will come up for Justin Loomis, b. 1793, Salem CT. Forget sbout him being born in Salem, CT. Salem did not exist as an incorporated town until 1819 when it was formed from sections of 3 towns, Colchester, Lyme, and Montville. Read all the IGI records.
