Hi June Thank you for getting back to me. As as the moment, my tree goes back to 1744 with a marriage. If they married at the minimum age of 21, well that take me to 1723, but it apparantly was known for children to marry as young as 14. A lady who is doing the one-name search for TIBBLES (with the variations of spellings on that name) gave me a lot of info for 1744-1813, and has more, but hasn't verified the finer details as yet.
