    1. Re: [GenCT] 1900 & 1910 Census for 651 Prospect Street, New Haven, New Haven, CT
    2. Dee Randall
    3. Thank you so much. I believe this must be him at age 3 because the birth month of February matches his February 14, 1897 birthdate as he gave all his life. During his life on the census' and marriage records, he was very inconsistent about his mother's place of birth. I don't find him in the Connecticut 1910 census as a 13 year old. He would probably be in the St. Francis orphanage, or out of there at a very early age. However, I'm wondering if there was a 1910 census listing separately the residents in this orphanage. Warren P. Randall as an adult on census records and other records has given his mother's name as Nellie Randall and his place of birth as Massachussetts & sometimes Connecticut. I'm not sure how he got from Massachusetts to this New Haven County orphanage, whether he was placed there or whether he was sent there, or whether his mother moved to the New Haven area. I find a widow Nellie Randall living in New Haven area in 1900 with 2 children b. 1891 & 1895: and also I find a Nellie Randall, 32 as a single sister-in-law in Suffolk Co., Mass. and both are possibilities.
