    3. Hi Diane, I have the Willard BIXBY genealogy, and there are no SPERRY's mentioned in that, but in Roy SHERMAN's genealogy of the SHERMAN's there is this one name... Rufus Pratt SHERMAN, b: 31 may 1831 in Jamestown, NY married 13 Oct 1854 in Portland, NY Sophronia Neff daughter of Adams & CAROLINE (SPERRY) NEFF, who was born 2 July 1834 in Chautauqua, NY (Home of Pres Clinton now) .. In Roy's other genealogy, (Sherman's of New England) he mentions these: 1:) Jesse Sherman, - m: 3rd - 13 feb 1793 - in Woodbrige, CT, Lydia SPERRY (page 42 & 43) - dau: of Seth & Lydia (Thomas) SPERRY b: 25 Apr 1764 - d: 15 Aug 1809 2) John Sherman, b: 23 aug 1724 - m: 20 Mar 1745 in Woodbridge, CT. Dorcas (SPERRY) Lines, b: 22 Jul 1713 in New Haven, widow of Samuel Lines.
