I think (not sure) that child was adopted by a couple in New Haven, CT or East Haven, CT named Charles Abraham Quillia and Mary Legrenade Quillia. How do I find records of that adoption if they exist? In 1895, would adoption records be filed in CT, MA, both states or neither state? Where would I find them? Any help is appreciated.
