Peter McCue [email protected] Seeking any info on my mother's first husband: SAMUEL EDWARD COLE who was born in Cherry Hill (or Pleasant Hill) Cecil Co., Maryland in 1885. He married my mom in Hartford CO., in Aug. 1917 and they moved to Newark, DE. where they both worked as paper mill employees. Cole had to regiister for thr WW-1 draft in June 1918 but he was on some kind of sick leave. By 1919 they were separated and my mom moved back to Hartford where she had a son, Henry in Sept. 1919. Cole moved in with his sister Ida Morrison in Newark, DE. Cole was an officer in the Knights of Pythias and the Freemasons. A member of the Methodist Church and a volunteer fireman. I will gladly pay for an authentic photo of Mr. Cole. He died in 1940 and is buried in the Cole family plot in the Methodist Church Cemetery in Cherry Hill, MD. Thank you. Peter B.
