If in fact the hospital was affiliated with a prison, perhaps it was the Connecticut State Farm for Women in East Lyme. You can browse census records through iCONN, the CT Digital Library. Go to _http://www.iconn.org_ (http://www.iconn.org) and after entering your library card number, choose Advanced Search and then click on Heritage Quest. Go to Census Records, Browse, then enter 1930 (the only year the State Farm is listed), state, county (New London) and the Connecticut State Farm will be one of the options.
