Hi, I am on the border of East Lyme, Niantic Ct. I have not heard of a hospital of that name, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. Any more details? Does the ms stand for Mississippi or the female address of Miss? Is Ida Thompson someone you are trying to find in genealogy or is it just a hospital? A nursing home? I don't have any of the Ancestry or Heritage Quest info, but if yopu put cslib.org in the url you'll find something about History and genealogy Biography vertical file. Scrolling down there is a name Ida M Thompson. This does no lead to anything other than the name. But since it is there, maybe one of the knowledgable clerks at the main section of the libray (Connecticut State Library) will know something about the hospital or how to find out about it. In trying to check the internet at the E. Lyme library or Town Hall i couldn't get anywhere there, but maybe the town clerk could give some info.
