(Farley) LaPointe, 73, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Richard L. LaPointe, died peacefully Saturday, (April 30, 2005) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Bertha was born October 27, 1931 in Lego, West Virginia, daughter of the late Matling and Lillian (Abshire) Farley and had resided in Manchester for more than 40 years. Bertha's last days were spent peacefully with family and friends close by her side with gentle hospice care at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and the most special grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the aunt to many nieces and nephews across the country, each one being very special to her and to some she was a "Special Mom".
