Let's see, my great grandmother was Mary Kovner. She and her family immigrated to Honolulu, Hawaii from Russia (Ukraine) in 1909. Her older brother was Kuzma Kovner.My great grandma Mary was very close to her older brother Kuzma and his wife Soledad, and their three kids, Peter, Alfred, and Gabriel, your great grandfather. Kuzma tragically died from a 35 feet fall from a scaffolding on the docks of Pearl Harbor in October 21, 1916. Ironically October 21, 1909 was the year the family immigrated to Hawaii.I have gotten into contact with Gwen Teixeria, daughter of Alfred Kovner. I haven't heard from her in a while.
