    1. Descendants of Abner YOUNG, b1855 of Killingly, CT
    2. Betty
    3. Hello, Just a quick note for this morning. I would very much like to hear from other descendants of ... Abner and Clara (DEXTER) YOUNG of Killingly, CT I believe they only had one son, Earle YOUNG, b1882, in Killingly, CT. By way of adoption in Boston, MA, Mrs. Clara (DEXTER) YOUNG, b1857, Killingly, CT, was the much-older sister of my grandmother, adoptive-name, Mary Anna Clark DEXTER, b1889, Boston, MA.* I have been told that a descendant of this family wrote a family-history document, and there is only a very brief mention of Clara's parents, John and Mary "Molly" (CLARK) DEXTER, and there is ..NO.. mention of Clara's younger sister (my grandmother). I would like to find out if any descendant of this YOUNG family from Killingly, CT, has a "Family BIBLE" which might tell of my grandmother's birth. Thank you for your time. Betty (near Lowell, MA) *My grandmother was a "foundling" in Bostin in Feb. 1889, and was given? the name, Daisy WATROUS, at that time. John and "Molly" DEXTER, living in Melrose, MA, in 1892, adopted Daisy, and changed her name to: Mary Anna Clark DEXTER. (John and "Molly" DEXTER left their life-long home in Killingly, CT, to move to Boston, MA, ..right around the same time the baby girl was born. (Marvin DEXTER's Farm) I have a STRONG suspicion there were "family secrets" in this extended DEXTER family which, if known, would shed some light on the true birth-parents of my grandmother.) ******* Some living descendants I am looking for are: David, Jonathan, and Jeffrey YOUNG, possibly in Ohio Mrs. Carol SANDERSON, possibly in CT or MA
