Hi everyone I would be very interested to hear from anyone who may have a family connection with my ancestor Joseph GRIST (born 1867, Dilton Marsh, Wiltshire, England, died 1933, Connecticut) and his wife Laura nee KEEPIN (born 1868, Wiltshire, England, died?) Joseph was mayor of Rockville in 1922-23. I have several cuttings about him kindly supplied by the library in Rockville, including a newspaper article about his nomination for mayor, entries in directories and his obituary. He apparently was a "devoted member" of St. John's Church and worked for the Springville Manufacturing Company, think this was a weaving co.
