After I sent the email I remembered that the DAR put the 1741 date on my application. I wondered about that but never followed through. So, it was my application from 1996 that had the 1755 date. The only other woman ever to use Peleg was 100 years earlier and they didn't even need to put dates down. Sigh, this means goodbye to my beloved "Averys of Groton, CT" if I have the wrong Peleg. BUT my mother has Averys from CT but from what is now Poundridge, NY. So I may gain them back again. Valerie
