Mehitabel Norton d/o: George Norton and Mary Jeremiah Johnson and Zipporah Mallory d/o: Peter Mallory and Elizabeth Trowbridge Peter Mallory s/o: Peter Mallory and Mary (Preston ?) Elizabeth Trowbridge d/o: William Trowbridge and Elizabeth Lamberton William Trowbridge s/o: Thomas Trowbridge and Elizabeth Marshall Elizabeth Lamberton d/o: George Lamberton and Margaret Lewwn ? Moses Johnson and Eunice Brownson d/o Thomas Brownson and Sarah Hitchcock Thomas Brownson s/o: Samuel Brownson and Lydia Warner Sarah Hitchcock d/o: Samuel Hitchcock and Sarah Weller Daniel Johnson and Currence Averill d/o: Moses Averill and Martha Cogswell Moses Averill s/o: Isaac Averill and Esther Walker Martha Cogswell d/o: Edward Cogswell and Hannah Brown The Cogswell line back generations to John Cogswell and Elizabeth Thompson and the Averill line back generations to William Averill and Abigail Hinton. Daniel Julius Caswell born Kent CT 1791 son of Daniel Johnson and Currence Averill was adopted by Amy Averill (sister to Currence) and her husband Julius Caswell in 1795. He married in Ohio Mary Bankhead Wilson d/o James Wilson and Mary Bankhead Campbell of VA. Daniel and Mary Caswell moved from Ohio to New Orleans LA sometimes after the death of three of their children in Dec. 1832 and Jan 1833 and 1838 when their youngest daughter was born in New Orleans. Daniel Died of Yellow Fever in 1839 and Mary died of old age in 1881. Both died in New Orleans LA. Margaret Indiana Caswell and Joseph Adams Hall s/o Joseph Hall and Maria Bartlett of Boston MA Margaret was born in IN and Joseph in Boston. They met in New Orleans and 2 of their 3 children were born there. Joseph was with the firm Hayden and Hall Warehouse Commissioner at 26 Poydras St. He died in San Francisco in 1851. In 1861 Margaret married John Ellzey of Pike Co MS. Maria Bartlett Hall and William F Fortenberry s/o G C Fortenberry and Sarah Brown These were my great grandparents. They live in Pike Co MS
