Delores: While I can't help[ much with the other lines, I can tell you that your Thomas Trowbridge line is handled quite well in Weis' "Ancestral Roots"...being traced through Thomas' mother Agnes Prowse back through the Beauchamps to the de Clermonts, the Namurs and thence to Chalemagne (and beyond). If you don't have the line, I would be willing to post it (either in a private e-mail or here if others want to see it). BTW, I also descend from Thomas through his son James to Caleb to Sarah (m. to Gen. Artemus Ward ) and so forth. And since we're posting long ago ancestors, my two main Connecticut lines are Orcutts who helped settle Orcuttville, Stafford Springs, CT, and Pixleys. If anyone has any information on Samuel Pixley of New Haven who had Emmeline Jennette Pixley m. Joel Hitchcock Orcutt, I would appreciate it. Samuel has been my "brick wall" and since I am in Maryland, I can't get to the CT land records which I am sure would provide clues. BTW, Sam'l Pixley married Betsey Hotchkiss, another temp. dead end for me (mostly because I haven't really worked on that line). The Orcutt's themselves go back to William Orcutt who showed up in Massachusetts somewhere around the 1660s, from Fillongley, Warwickshire, England. He was the nephew of Susannah Bickley who married Samuel Edson (most folks have carried on with the tradition that Susannah was an Orcutt and Samuel's sister, but recent genealogical digging by J. Orcutt has pretty much disproved this, with Susannah's sister Margaret Bickley marrying an Awcotte in Fillongly who then had my William, and hence he being Sussannah's nephew). Other lines include Washburns through Connecticut (Molly, wife of Stephen Orcutt, who fought in the Rev. War -- she descended through Solomon of Bridgewater and Tolland CO.), and Cushman's (Lydia who was dau. of William Cushman and married Stephen Orcutt's father Daniel)..
