    3. I found a reference to this book being part of the collection at the >wonderful< Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne Indiana: NORTON - Gibboney, Harold G The Nortons from the Norman Conquest through the settlement of Guilford Conn. in 1639 to the present, 1066-1965. By Harold G Gibboney. 2d Ed. Athens, Ohio (1966) My question to the list is, does anyone know where a copy can be purchased? I checked Higginson Books and Amazon.com but neither had it. Thanks. Marty Irons May all your ancestors YELL at you, telling you how and where to find them. PS: John F Irons (1811-1854 Cazenovia NY)... please yell louder.

    3. Marty, The Godfrey Memorial Library (a genealogy library) in Middletown, CT has the book. The books etc. in the libraries collection do not circulate. The library does provide help for a modest fee. The website for the library is http://www.godfrey.org Marilyn CT --- On Fri, 11/7/08, Marty <k2mi@frontiernet.net> wrote: > From: Marty <k2mi@frontiernet.net> > Subject: [CT] NORTON genealogy by Harold G Gibboney > To: "LIST - GenConnecticut" <genconnecticut-l@rootsweb.com> > Date: Friday, November 7, 2008, 6:26 AM > I found a reference to this book being part of the > collection at the >wonderful< Allen County Public > Library > in Fort Wayne Indiana: > > NORTON - Gibboney, Harold G > > The Nortons from the Norman Conquest through the settlement > of > Guilford Conn. in 1639 to the present, 1066-1965.
