Two individuals have developed excellent sites for doing historical family research in from the mid 1600's to the late 1800's. They have not done it alone. Others have contributed to the transcriptions of records found on theses sites. Among the records on both site are transcription of the Barbour Records for some towns. Ray's Place For New England's Past http://www.rays-place.com/ Jane Devlin's Site http://dunhamwilcox.net/ And don't forget to investigate USGenweb Project websites for the Connecticut counties and towns. What is available from site to site varies, but the treasures one does find are worth the time and effort to look. Happy hunting and good luck, Marilyn CT
