Hello, Here are my early Greenwich, Fairfield Co. CT families: ANDERSON, BOSCH/BUSH, FEAKE, FERRIS, GRAY, HARDY, HOBBY, HUSTED/HUESTES, HOLMES, HOYT, HULL, JONES, KNAPP, KILVEY, LOCKWOOD, LYON, MEAD, MILLS, MITCHELL, NORMAN, PALMER, POTTER (BROWN?), PURDY (speculative through ANDERSON), RUNDLE/RANDLE, SMITH (2), WATERBURY. Jeffrey Ferris married three direct line grandmothers. I'm also descended from three sons of John MEAD, son of William and Philip (Kilvey) MEAD. ANOTHER Fairfield County family is the Hessian soldier, William RHINEVAULT--originally Wilhelm Reinwald, a Brunswicker during the Revolution. He fought for the CT line after escaping from the British. His wife, Mary Spencer, and he reared a family in New Fairfield, Fairfield, CT. These lines come early to the area and stay there raising families till the early 1800s, when the sons took off for NY. I also have an assortment of 17th century Dutch New Amsterdam names. This eventually married into the Bosch/Bos/Bush family of early Cos Cob, CT.
