    3. Dear Cheryl, My name is Marilyn Moser. I live in Newington, right in the center of the area where you need help. Newington and Berlin were originally part of the town of Berlin. Many resources are available to me, including original town records. It's only about a half hour drive (on local cross-country roads) to the Godfrey Library in Middletown. The distance isn't far. It's the traffic, stop signs, and stoplights that use up the time. I sure we can work out something affordable for you. For many years I did volunteer research. This is a luxury I can no longer afford as I am living on a retirement income that qualifies me for food stamps. Still I love doing the research. Fortunately I still have a car that is in good working order, and I'm healthy enough to do local research. In fact, it keeps me involved and challenged. I don't have time to get bored. Looking forward to hearing from you. Maybe we can even discuss things over the phone. I don't use my cell phone much, so I usually have minutes available for long distance calls. Sometimes one phone call covers more ground than several back and forth e-mails, Yours truly, Marilyn Moser Newington, CT 860-666-0571 --- On Mon, 10/27/08, Cheryl Cain <annamaesgd@sbcglobal.net> wrote: > From: Cheryl Cain <annamaesgd@sbcglobal.net> > Subject: [CT] Researcher in Connecticut > To: genconnecticut@rootsweb.com > Date: Monday, October 27, 2008, 6:56 PM > Hi, >   > After many futile years of searching for more information > on my ancestor Erastus Brainerd Cunningham's parents or > more siblings, I've come to the conclusion he and his > sister were dropped on earth from some extraterrestrial > galaxy OR I'm in need of someone with better resources > and understanding to help me. >   > Could someone give me names of researchers in the Hartford, > Newington, Berlin, Colchester, Wethersfield areas ( about > 1700-1840) who might be affordable and could help me? >   > Many thanks, > Cheryl Cain--Oklahoma > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > GENCONNECTICUT-request@rootsweb.com with the word > 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and > the body of the message
