What are your Welles lines in CT? Mine is DNA down from Gov. Welles Catherine Wells Mensi ----- Original Message ----- From: HubbellGen@aol.com To: genconnecticut@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2008 12:54 PM Subject: Re: [CT] CT Family Lines OK, I'll joint the movement here and post my lines. These are the known US lines, and mostly in Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven and Middlesex counties, some are well researched and documented, some rely on older work that is always suspect without genetic studies, etc. I've excluded my European and Canadian names. Some of them repeat several times through the generations, Curtis and Perkins for instance, three of one and five of the other. First and foremost of course is Hubbell, then Andrews, Bennett, Bishop, Butcher, Carrington, Clark, Cogswell, Collins, Curtis, Densmore, Eddy, Eick, Fairweather, Gault, Gaylord, Gilbert, Gunn, Hall, Hawkins, Hayward, Holbrook, Horton, Hotchkiss House, Howe, Hurst, Ives, Johnston, Keeler, Knowles, Lane, Loring, Loveland, Luddington, Meigs, Morehouse, Moulthrop, Perkins, Preston, Reed, Sale, Sherwood, Stebbins, Thomas, Thompson, Tibbals, Titus, Tomlinson, Turney, Tuttle, Warner, Weeden, Welles, Wheeler, Williams, Wilmot, Wooding Carol Hubbell Boggs **************Play online games for FREE at Games.com! Hello, I am descended from Gov. Welles by his daughters Ann who married Thomas Thompson and Sarah who married John Chester. Ann & Sarah are my 10th great grandmothers. The research on them I have is very old (when I was a beginner). I would be willing to share what I have and be interested in new information from other descendents? The info I have is online here: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=srp1947&id=I788 Thank You, Sue Prideaux
