Searching for my 3 Great Grandmother, Amantha Martha JORDAN, sometimes called "Martha" Jordan. b: 29 Sep 1811 thought to be born in Waterbury, "Cheshire" Vermont. In 1810 BUT THERE IS NO SUCH PLACE (I called Waterbury,Chittenden, VT and the town clerk found nothing on this family. SO I'M WONDERING IF SHE'S FROM CHESHIRE, CT. I don't have her parents names yet, however, there my be some clues in the names she chose for her children. Samuel Eber Cornelius Vestifers William Franklin and Joseph Andrew Her daughters are; Amantha Loduska Elizabeth J. Martha Amantha Caroline D.V. and Margaret She married abt 1829, Bethuel Miller b: 1812 in Dalton, NH Place of marriage is unknown. This is all I have so far....finding her parents is my goal....
