Oh, I'm quite happy with Win 8. The only mistake I made was installing the Vista PDF driver with FTM, so I now get an annoying popup. For the time being, I'll just rebuild it without that driver. Everything else works fine, I just have no PDF. I've sought counsel from Amunyi as well. Paul

The results are in... To be able to use the PDF writer with FTM 2005, I would need to purchase the most recent version of the driver. There is a trial available, so I could check that it does indeed work. However, the latest version costs quite a bit more than my Windows 8 upgrade, even with the present special offer. I will give it a miss. Paul
