    1. FTW 2008 Upgrade?

    3. I have FTW 2006 and am looking at upgrading to FTW 2008. But I can't seem to find an "upgrade" path on their site. Is there not a reduced upgrade price for previous users of FTW or do you have to pay the entire purchase price as any new user would? Thanks Charlie ****************************************************** Charliec

Under the bonnet it is quite different, and represent an 'upgrade' in name only. So it would seem there is only an install path. And you need to be fairly recent with your computer software. The change in software design has not been without incident. The initial offering was slow, clunky and missing some features that users had come to like. "Repairs" are underway and ongoing to rectify this. If you Google, you will get plenty of feedback on the product. There are numerous complaints from users about speed, missing features etc. There seems to be a strong attempt to "tie" you to after-market features as well, which might be fine if your family is USA-based, but not much use elsewhere.
