The "Application Data" folder is one of those places that Windows tries to hide from over-inquisitive users with "here be dragons!"-style warnings. Most Windows users are blissfully unaware of its existence, because the file manager hides it quite effectively. You only really notice it if you fire up a DOS (sorry, Command Prompt) window.
