Anyone aware of well-argued recommendations for how to cite census in GEDCOM SOUR structures? I've read Mills' PRINT suggestions, but print is not something I have any plans for.

The census data elements would be recorded respectively as AGE, BIRT, RESI, OCCU, etc.. Each of these would then reference the data source (the census record) with the normal tags of TITL, REPO, PAGE, QUAL, etc. If there are any other data from the census which do not fit the normal data fields for an individual, then these would be attached as NOTEs or custom EVENs at the individual record level, or to a subordinate data item as appropriate.
