For example if you download a Gedcom from Rootsweb.com or familysearch.org and want to add it to your file. Merging with Legacy Family Tree is so much easier and quicker than PAF. One of these days the Mormons are going to create a version of PAF that has a great merge like Legacy Family Tree. But odds are they are not going too.
