Thanks There is a group on Ebay for Slide & Film Scanners which has a large selection for you to choose from. Also in the same group are offers to do the scanning for you. I see one offering 500 slides for £80 on professional scanning equipment. That's 1.6p each! Before I went fully digital I had a Minolta film & negative scanner. It would take me an hour to scan between 30 & 40 frames & even then felt that the results were sometimes less than they might be David

However for larger volumes the price does come down further.
