Ask whether they have a microfilm-to-digital scanners. Chances are, even if they weren't designed for it, you can fit a 35mm slide perfectly in the scanning window. Allen County Public Library here in Indiana has nearly a dozen, and I can scan slides or microfilm at a very high resolution, and output to print, or jpeg, gif, PDF, TIFF and possibly others to CD, USB, floppy, or email. -- Wes Groleau After the christening of his baby brother in church, Jason sobbed all the way home in the back seat of the car.
