It seems to me I heard somewhere that jesse mc wrote in article <mailman.211.1195565848.28474.gencmp@rootsweb.com>: >Hi folks, I'm back needing advice on subject. To add one more, there is a made-for-the-purpose scanner, made by VuPoint, on the market at about $100US. I have one on order but have no experience using it; I had to return the first one I received. It supposedly can scan both 35mm slides and 35mm negative film. I ordered mine from the catalog vendor Hammacher Schlemmer, but I think I've seen them from other vendors on line. Slide/Negative to Digital Picture Converter FSC1VP A small number of buyers have commented on the scanner at the manufacturer's support pages, including one query from me. Installation seems hard for some users, but those who have the thing running appear to be satisfied. http://forums.techguy.org/digital-photography-imaging/626156-vupoint-solutions-film-scanner.html [http://tinyurl.com/2clnoj] -- Don Kirkman
