Thanks Does it come up in Windows Explorer? If not, there is a function somewhere in the administrative files area to set or change drive letters. I've forgotten XPese already, but I'm pretty sure it's there. There are also third party applications (hopefully including some free ones) that can do the same thing. If it comes up in Explorer but not in other programs it sounds like a registry entry may be missing or mangled. Add and Remove Programs depends on the registry being available and accurate. -- Don [email protected]

Try Control Panel_Administrative Tools_Computer Management_Disk Management. That *should* show up every partition that is recognised. To change a drive letter, *right click* the relevent partition and the option to change letter appears. HTH, -- Cheers, Tim S. (please delete myfairlyobviousspamtrap if you wish to reply directly)
