However, the .exe isn't very big so, unlike the all-singing all-dancing installer project from some time ago, it seems unlikely that it will install all the dependencies such as Python which are apt to be absent from Windows. Looking back to the comments on the 2.6 release it seems that as ever Windows users were finding it just too difficult to set up.
