See now I overlooked that there is some information about property in England mentioned in 1760 and 1787 in Utrecht. The Wills are likely to be just the same as any Wills you can find in Duch records (perhaps there will be a notarised translation for the English courts). BobC

The appropriate authority in England (now a judge who signs and seals the foreign grant or equivalent - see e.g. the many entries in the PRFD indexes for Scottish grants which have been re-sealed) allows the instructions in the will to be exercised in England so far as they accord with English Law. In the case of Scottish wills post 1857 whose grants have been re-sealed there are no copies of the wills held by the PRFD but if any foreign _grants_ were filed and they were indivisible from the associated will then possibly there might be something held in England. >in relation to the property in England in order for the title to >pass from Antony to Catherina and then, possibly, to be sold in winding- >up her estate. If its unlikely that I derive some new information from them (I do have the Dutch wills) I can save almost 7 pounds. As far as I can determine its a family without surviving offspring and leaving their possessions to (the children of) siblings. They were very active in Utrecht before the notary leaving loads of traces and evidence.
