We are inclined to think that a more frequent use of some of the higher class coloured photographic slides, interspersed with animated projections, would tend to the ensurance of a successful show. We may even go so far as to say, that a film subject could be rendered more complete by the addition of ordinary slides made from negatives bearing on the film subject. It sometimes happens that the cinematograph operator, at the time of taking his pictures, will fail to include in the series just those phases of the subject that are of highest interest ; hence it is that the use of an ordinary camera proves of great value in securing the missing points.
