To apply for a standing search from the current set up, you have to pay in sterling by cheque or postal order. I can't believe transactions are still made by postal order these days, I don't think I have even seen one since the late 1950s! >From what I was told by the young man in the Probate Office, the new system will have online payment, it would have to as he said you would be able to download the images.
