The 1866 birth record should give the parents' date and place of marriage but beware of traditional "adjustments" like putting the date back a year if it wasn't long before the birth. FS seems to be throwing a sicky so I can't look for a Scottish marriage between 1855-1866 which can usually be expected to have been recorded if it occurred.
