The contract went to FMP as Anscestry would not take the huge risk to digitise, transcribe & index the Register. I don't know if you remember Ancestry dropped out of the 18911 contract when they worked out how much it would cost them and the risk they would have to take. FMP at least had the courage in their convictions and took the risk. Cheers Guy
