In the Aberstwyth one it comes immediately after aber.ac.uk/ What should it be? John. -- Please reply to john at yclept dot wanadoo dot co dot uk.

In the > Aberstwyth one it comes immediately after aber.ac.uk/ > > What should it be? I had the same experience and identified the same funny constructs as the probable causes. What I did was to go to the university home page in each case (the bit between '//' and the first '/') and use their search facilities for the word 'advent'. This brought up these URLs: Aberystwyth: <https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/is/collections/special-collections/advent/> Sheffield: <http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/library/special/adventcalendar2015> Curiously there are none of the funny expressions in either of these URLs. And they work here at least. -- Tim Powys-Lybbe tim@powys.org for a miscellany of bygones: http://powys.org/
