Hi Anne, after reading the site notes I tried with both search types, putting the surname first then his first name, with no results, then yes I tried using his surname only which brought up what looked like adverts for a "building firm" What I was hoping from the search was to find what page the death notices were on and any obituaries? I have ordered his 1987 death certificate which will tell me where to look better. But for other searches it still leaves me wondering, I will try and contact the paper and ask.
