And the Society of Genealogists has a collection of directories that looks pretty complete from 1888 on at <http://s10312uk.eos-intl.eu/S10312UK/OPAC/Search/Browse.aspx?txtSearch=Crockford&IndexCode=1&SearchMethod=1>.
