n order to undo the fall of Adam and redeem mankind ,Jesus had to take on human nature and live the human condition. "For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants. For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way. Hebrews 2v16-17 Now having overcome sin and death, he has fully retrieved his divine nature ,being Almighty God as to his spirit and the prototype of the new , perfect, immortal and glorified man as to his body. "And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him " Hebrews 5v9 The following passages testify of his Divinity. "But about the Son he says, Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom." Hebrews 1v8 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." John 1v1-3 "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. " John 1v14 "And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, Let all God’s angels worship him." Hebrews 1v6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9v6 "By him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. " Colossians 1v16-17 "We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life." 1 John 5v20 "Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
