I don't know where I got the idea, but I thought that Tipperary was in Ulster! All the wartime songs about it somehow gave me that impression. I thought that there would have to be an inquest. Thanks for the info, Kate. I have a man in New Zealand who was supposedly killed with a beer bottle, and the police weren't particularly interested. The evidence about his personality is conflicting.
