I am trying to connect Euphemia Allan to a Christian Allan in my family tree. Christian's daughter came to Australia and, from immigration records, Euphemia was her Aunt. Euphemia married the Rev John Bowes in Australia and died in Marrickville, Sydney, NSW in 1900. The registry does not record her mother and father. So it would appear that Euphemia and Christian were sisters but I cannot make the connection so far. I have tried searching. Christian parents were William Allan and Euphemia Hutcheson. I can only find a Margaret and John as siblings for Christian. All the events I have found so far are in Edinburgh. If anyone is researching the Bowes/Allan line I would appreciate contact.
