    3. Kate, There are numerous family trees on Ancestry for your family. I have had a quick look and jotted down some info for you and in the case of a couple of births and deaths have looked up registration numbers for you. Just to confirm some info. Here is what I found :- They have William George Searby being born in Lincolnshire, England either circa 1841 or circa1833 with his parents listed as William Searby and Mary Maria Bruchmann b 1870. This was Mary Maria Bruchmann's second marriage and William George seems to be the only child from this marriage. She had quite a few earlier to her 1st husband. William George Searby married a Maria Manning or Manion in New York USA either 1868 or 1870 on these trees. They list their children as follows :- William George Searby b 1870 South America d 21/7/1956 Epping, Vic, Australia. (According to the Vic Digger Death disc, he died at North(cote) or North something. Reg # 8561) Francis Joseph b 1871 d Melb, Vic, Aust. Reg # 5771 buried Melb General Cemetery Charles Joseph b 1873 d 1952 Pville (which is the death place most probably Parkville,as that is where a large Melbourne hospital is situated.) Reg # 2859 Lewis George b 26/10/1876 Wasleys, S.A. Australia. Reg # bk 174 pg 84 d 27/11/1963 Park, Vic. Aust. Reg # 25308 buried Footscray Cemetery Lewis married in 1900 a Cath Josephine Hussey b 1872 d 1850 Peter Paul b 17/10/1878 Pt Gawler, S.A. Aust. Reg # Bk 208 pg 338 (Birth reg as Searbey) d 30/8/1857 Reservoir, Vic. Aust. Reg # 10611 (Birth is reg as only Peter, death is reg as Peter Paul) Mary Ellen b 1881 Hotham Vic Reg # 24218 d 6/9/19369 Brunswick Mary married in 1906 a Alfred Charles Rosemondo Gillman (1876-1938) Vincent b Sept 1902 Melb Vic Australia. Reg # 22686 d 1903 Werribee, Melb Reg # 3909 Buried Melb General Cemetery. On the trees on Ancestry they have Vincent listed as William and Maria's but I think it is Mary Ellen's child. She is listed as the mother and no father is listed. As you can see they were actually in South Australia between 1876 to 1878 when two of their children were born. Hope this helps you. Cheers Angie Some family trees have beautiful leaves, and some have just a bunch of nuts. Remember, it is the nuts that make the tree worth shaking. ~Author Unknown Andrea Roberts....in Melbourne, Australia. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Searching for Pyke/Millsom/Goodman/McCann/Johnson/Rorke/Presnell/ Moorhouse/Millard/Taylor/Toppin http://www.1stopmedia.org/angieroberts/index.html
