Hi all, I have a photo of a wedding in 1901 in Melbourne. One of the groomsmen is in uniform with a pith helmet with a spike also a sash possibly white with two coloured stripes. On googling it appears (I hope) that these helmets were used with "home service units" and on googling that it appears that there are a number of different varieties - Voluntary, professional and semi-professional. I've taken a "fancy" to the semi-professional as a possibility - no real reason for this though. Does anyone know if there are records for these anywhere - especially names as I suspect that the groomsman is a brother of the groom but not sure if he is Max or Laurence King. Thank you for any guidance. Pat
