Hi all After doing some research today on the internet and the NZ BDM, I think this is a case of a mixup in death dates. I found a Harry Vincent Baker who died in NZ in 1949 - he was aged 83 yrs and therefore the wrong person. This is probably the same Harry Vincent Baker who married Annie Cahill in 1891 in Victoria. The other Harold Vincent Baker died in 1982 in Wellington aged 72 years. He was cremated at Karori Crematorium (you can look up the Wellington City Council Cemetery database online).
