I wonder if anyone can help with a death for Bertie. (And any wife or family?) He was born in Yass and then the family moved to Murwillumbah where his father James Henry was a chemist. I have looked in trove and NSW BMD. He does appear in trove but not the crucial facts, he had a social life. he was in the electoral roll until 1937 in Murwillumbah, with wife Esther Amelia There is mention of Bertie Holmes in WA and I wondered if he moved there.
