    3. Dear Lists, I am still searching for a Edward McDonnell /McDonald) who arrived in Hobart with his wife Bridget, daughter Ellen and son John on the Clyde 1833. This family just disappeared after arriving in Hobart. A son Thomas born 1836 (on his wedding cert he said he was born in Hobart Van Diemen's Land) I cannot find his birth. Thomas married Ann Malony in 1856 in Victoria. I have searched every possible place but have not found a single thing. Except for Thomas's marriage I would have decided they didn't stay in Australia in 1833, even thought they may have continued back to England????? Please can anyone help. I only call for help on the lists when I have come to a complete stop and of late have had some wonderful information from all three lists. The only information I have is a letter from England instructing that the Captain of the Clyde be given 20 pounds by the Governor, for Edward and his familie's passage to Tasmania. Many thanks Irene Email: irene.schaffer@bigpond.com Website: http://www.tasfamily.net.au/~schafferi/ Lady Nelson: www.ladynelson.org.au
