An alternative method is to open the Word doc and then save it as a HTML document (assuming there Save-as options are in your Word installation). You should then find the images saved separately and if I recall correctly in their original size. -- Robert G. A useful free utility for capturing images from your screen or a document is MWSnap. Generates jpg images. Especially good for black and white, colour loses definition. Search using MWSnap on Google.
