Dear All, I am trying to find the marriage and death information for my gt-uncle, Albert Gibbard Bennett who was born in NZ. I know he served in the Australian Army in WWI; I've heard a family story that after the War he married a girl named Dorothy(?) and they moved to Echuca (?) where they may have owned a shop. They may have had 3 sons, one of whom may have been Robert Gibbard Bennett. I've found Albert mentioned in a family document that says he died on 17/6/1953, but I don't know where. I've done quite wide searches of the Victorian and NSW records online and can't seem to find his death or a marriage recorded. Given the location of Echuca, I suppose it could be possible that they moved on to South Australia, but I've never heard anything to say they did. I know he was living in Ascot Vale, Vic, in 1924, as I've found him on the electoral roll, but that's the last mention of him I can find anywhere. Can anyone help, please? Many thanks in advance, Jeny
